TRAKIT introduces TrakitALL™, a new fully integratable or stand-alone TRAKIT suite module option for complete asset tracking and logistics.
TrakitALL™ is a complete, satellite-managed global asset locating system that collects data from remote wireless devices attached to fixed and mobile assets to help users keep track of, secure and better manage their production and hauling hardware assets. The system is RoHS compliant and meets SAE J1455, MIL STD 810 and NEMA 4X/IP68 standards, making it robust enough to handle even extreme terrains and weather conditions. The TrakitALL™ module can be used as a stand-alone tool, or seamlessly integrated with the TrakitGPS fleet tracking system.
TrakitALL™ allows operational personnel and asset managers to quickly locate available equipment in close proximity to a given address, hotspot, other vehicle or driver, or even other equipment. They are also able to search for equipment and vehicles by number, description or notes. This ability to quickly locate assets enables users to deliver enhanced customer service, maximize asset usage and reduce fuel costs. The system will also help users reduce theft, speed recovery of assets that do go missing, and negotiate reduced insurance premiums as a result.
The TrakitALL™ system includes a remote wireless satellite transmitter with integrated GPS chipset, motion sensor and sensor inputs that is self-powered by two or four off-the-shelf AA batteries, with expected battery life of four+ years. Each transmitter typically installs in just a few minutes, and is easily relocated to another asset as necessary should tracking needs change. The system provides simple, intuitive operation, and beyond the nominal one-time module licensing setup/add-on charge, costs less than $250 upfront per asset-to-be-tracked, plus a monthly cost depending on usage.
The TrakitALL™ device transmitter can be user-configured to send GPS sensor information via satellite during a specified time or interval, upon asset movement or when outside of a particular geographical area. An alternate reporting schedule can be set to trigger by integrated motion sensors. The system sends user alerts based on movement – either on distance travelled or specific timeframes of interest – and “low battery” indications.
A special Notes field allows users to track scheduled timeframes, equipment availability and equipment that is for sale, known equipment issues and the current job/customer the equipment is assigned to.
